For anyone bothered by the crowd, this was the Live Earth benefit concert in 2007 with dozens of acts. The very next day after this Metallica headlined a proper gig here with a full best-of setlist and it was fucking awesome.

Sorry but this is a legendary metal band playing Wembley and that's the crowd they get. I don't even think half of them are big Metallica fans, such a shame, Metallica deserve better one of my favourite bands I would have killed to be there. At least there was some real metal heads you could see singing along, but a great performance anyway. Much respect as if this was almost 10 years ago!

I remember watching it on YouTube a couple of days after it happened, back in 2007 when I thought that 2000 was so long ago. Time flies like hell.

I saw Metallica Kill 'Em All tour in 1983 when they opened for Raven, those were the days.
