Hey, last month my SDD drive was not showing. I searched and apply manual steps like use inspect the connection, use disk management, check assign drive letter etc. but it did not work. Someone told me to format the drive but need to take backup firste. So I used Stellar Data Recovery Professional for windows to recover my Data. Now I think I took right decision at right time. This didn't help me at all because idk what happened I cant initialize it but its known and when i try both it says
GPT: The specified disk is not convertible because the size is less than the minimal size required for GPT disks(its 500GB)
MBR: The request failed due to a fatal device hardware error.

I am using my seagate 1TB EX HDD since one year. There is 700GB data. Suddenly 7days back it gave beep sound. Light gone off. Then I ejected through safe removal process. Then again I attached with laptop and light is still off. But can feel the motor vibration by touching external hard drive. In my computer it is showing nothing. Went to disk manager... Then it is showing " Disk 1, unknown, 931.51 GB, not initialised, unallocated." in the properties it is showing that disk is working properly, partition style - not applicable How to save the data of the HDD..?

Hi there. I just hope you can help me with my hard disk.
There is no drive letter allocated.
When I start Disk Management, I get the message box:
You must initialize a disk before Disk Manager can access it.

For both partition styles - MBR and GPT - I get the message box:
Virtual Disk Manager - Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

How can I solve this and make the disk accessible in Win10?

If anyone had their SD card in their android device previously, put it back in your android, format it via the settings (make it an external drive) and then simply eject it. Took me forever to realise despite it being so simple (dunno about recovering data I am no expert).

I used minitool partition wizard version 11.4 and under file system, my disk shows bad disk and seems like there's no video on yt that talks about that kind of problem

(SOLVED FOR SD CARDS - worked for me )Before everything else try to insert sdcard into --"SDCARD ADAPTER"-- and check its unlocked and then try to do whatever you want with sd card.!! If doesn't look other solutions.
