His responses were entirely ridiculous.He thought he was smarter than the Coast Guard Board here. They very low key called him out. For example, he said that he was asked many times to go on the Titan (look at that side glance). He thought that would be the end of that line of questioning, then wham he is hit with "did you ever go on Titan?'. He responds comically with "I didn't want to take up spots for others." Bro, I think we can find many dives that were well short of the 5 maximum so I think we can squeeze you in.
A bit about language that pisses me off. We have a perfectly acceptable word for people that pay to travel or sight see. Its called a tourist. No shame in that word. But to scam both the authorities and tourists they come up with "mission specialists". They specialized in nothin except gullibility.
Another thing; no attorney? For a guy who is about to spend the next 10 years of his life in litigation based on THIS testimony, that's a poor choice.
