Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University’s Robotic Institute have developed a robot that uses artificial intelligence to collaborate with humans on works of art.

FRIDA, a robotic arm with a paintbrush taped to it is named after the famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo.

It isn't art and you can't copyright the work as it was not done by a human. There has already been a legal precedent set in the USA for this.

Normally i would consider this a huge waste of money and time. But as it helps develop A.I into being creative. This should help in the long run in getting a.i to cure cancer and aids and such. Why. Creativity and imagination are the key tools to creating something new. Something no one thought of.

like a doctor operating with patient assisted by robots... on their own operating room or somewhere else.

using that to create art is not art... recreating things they cant do by their own hands lol
