Ukraine is far from a democracy. Corrupt and authoritarian.

As a resident of Ukraine, I will say that this is the absolute truth. Every day, leaving home, I monitor the movements of patrols, since there are hundreds of such cases a month.

STOP FORCING PEOPLE TO DIE IN A WAR THEY DON'T WANT TO DIE FOR!

I doubt her statement. They've been dragging young people off the street for weeks now. There are a TON of videos of them doing this.

These are not isolated. My friends in Ukraine say guys are dressing as women when they leave their homes to go grocery shopping. One's a doctor and they picked him up after showing his exemption papers and still didn't release him for four hours. These man on the street interviews are bogus as it's a criminal offense in Ukraine to say anything publicly that weakens Ukrainian morale or disparages the military. The SBU is raiding peoples homes and making arrests over Facebook and twitter posts that are critical of the government, military, or war. I'd say everything is fine too if someone shoved a camera in my face and asked those questions.

The problem with this is that people don't get much training before being sent to the frontline, there was a case of one guy who was mobilized and KIA notice came to his family in two days, there is no trust and no value of life of their own citizens, only on paper and in the news.

Back in the Age of Sail, this would be called a press gang.

I've been saying this, since the start of the war. I literally have footage of them killing their citizens trying to flee to Poland. But, no you immediately get called a putin lover🤦🏼

Its important to Note that this happens propaply every day in ukraine. Its not a isolated incident at all.

I would do the same if my government sent me to almost certain death.

Funny thing is that there are dozens of videos like that, I doubt that it was exactly those recruiters without "sufficient training". All recruiters understand that if they don't take those people in, they will be the next to go to the frontline.

That lady explains it like it was just an incident, while this happens systematically all over Ukraine. It is a shame and the kiev regime should take responsibility. Zelensky lied that soldiers are not drafted by force

There has always been a Wild West in Ukraine! If you have money, then you can bribe anyone or pay off. If the relatives of these men had money, then you can approach the soldiers to offer money and they will let him go, $ 500 is usually worth buying off. And if you want to go abroad, you pay the border guards $ 5, 000 and they let you through. In Ukraine, everything is solved with money, if you want a college diploma, they sell it on the Internet, you can also buy weapons now, if the police stop your car, then you can also give a bribe and go further. You can trade on the street without paying taxes, the main thing is to pay the local sheriff. There are laws in the country, but no one seriously complies with them. If Western organizations enter the country, they will be very surprised and realize that Ukraine is very far from the European Union..
