German Progress After 3 Years of Learning

In this video I speak German after learning it for 3 years in total (excluding two long breaks). I actually recorced this video back in March, but it took me forever to finally sit down and edit it. In any case, I hope you enjoy the video!

All in all you speak pretty well already. There are some typical patterns you seem to apply when speaking, like avoiding complicated sentence structures and using a lot of filler words.

A tip from my side instead of using nominalized verb-forms use the infinitive instead: Ich möchte aufhören mit Lernen -> Ich möchte aufhören zu lernen. Also, you seem to have a mild case of "Ja-itis" a term I coined for German learners who over-use ja as a filler word. Natives actually don't use it that much. Try "öh" and "ähm" for a change.
