So the main thing is if you only want to be a civil servant because of its sparks and facilities then you should reconsider your thoughts. There are challenges in every civil service. If you just dream about bunglow & cars & other comforts then this job is not for you. Only aspire to be an IAS OFFICER or a IFS OFFICER if you are passionate about that service. I love IFS because in this service you get a chance to represent your nation at international level..and there is less or no political interference in your work....which is a peaceful thing..i dont like being commanded by an MLA/MP or any politician who is corrupt and even not enough educated to understand the problem rationally and with reasoning..
and along with these things.. i also like the perks an IFS get..

To be honest I am the couch potato in my family, sometimes I think this service is not even fit for me. Maybe never but the situation in my tribal areas indulge me somehow to be part of this service to create a better life for the community. But still I don't have the inner essence to join.🙏 Thanks again sir for motivation.

If anyone joins a civil service he should be less concerned about salary. However I am sure that any bureaucrat earns well enough to have a decent life, decent vacation and a comfortable retirement. Medical facilities, job security and several other facilities are quite respectable. I know it because my father is a government engineer and we are comfortable very much
