REASON #1. They want to assess whether your motivations for wanting the job are related to pay. If you are solely interested in a paycheck, you won’t get hired.

Passionate people are more likely to stay in their jobs for a long time, which is helpful to the employer, and more importantly, they will be far more productive than the average employee!

#1. Do not say you are interested in the job because it’s close to home. This type of answer just shows you are only interested in what you can get from the position.

#2. Do not say you are interested in the job because the salary is competitive or better than what most employers offer. Again, this shows you to be money-motivated, which could put the employer off from hiring you.

#3. Do not say you are interested in the position because the hours suit your personal life, or there is the opportunity to work from home. Again, this tells the interviewer you are more interested in what YOU can get from the position.

#4. Do not say you are interested in the position because the benefits, perks of the job, or bonuses are attractive.

#5. Do not say you are interested in the position because the holiday or annual leave allowance is great!

I would say that number 2 answer sounds better, however I would most likely use option n1 as I am not highly qualified but moat likely have the experience within the field I would apply 😊
