I want to set it up so I can buy humbuckers for it later.
Will it be alright to buy the 500k pots to use for my single coils until then?

Did your pickups have exactly 2 wires each? I got the same HSS harness because of your video but the pickups i'm using have 5 wires each. I'm just wondering if your pickups have more than 2 wires and if they did what did you do with the wires that are not on the diagram? Did you just coil them up and ignore or did you combine them into one connection. Just wondering since the video doesn't show it. Thanks in advance.

Hi I have a hss Stratocaster and I recently ordered the Obsidian hss harness. I'm using an EVH Frankenstein humbucker and some Jimi Hendrix single coils for the middle and neck positions. The EVH pickups only has one wire.. will I have trouble installing this with the Obsidian?

I was looking into putting an hss loaded guard or add humbucker to my stock 2019 classic vibe making it look and sound more super strat.lol. I came across these harnesses. Wireless? I'm all for not breaking out my shitty walmart iron. Hehehehe stay you bud!

did you get the obsidian wire version with 0.047uf capacitor or the other one (0.022 cpacitor) ? The mexican and american standard strat come out with 0.022uf capacitor from the factory so I'm wondering myself which one version to get. Thank you

I noticed that your screwdriver slipped a few times. Now you dont want to scratch your new pickguard or guitar so here's a tip I saw in another video of a guy replacing pickups. Hold the base of the shaft of the screwdriver as well as the top and this will prevent slipping.

ah man, you cut out the part i was looking for. the wiring diagram has B. Series Link for slots 9 and 10. i have no idea what B Series Link is..

Can you post the wiring for the HSS Obsidian wire? I’ve ordered one but no diagram came. I followed another YouTube, but must have misunderstood as the middle and neck don’t have any sound. I’ve emailed Obsidian twice with no reply. Thanks!
