Another reason the critics (and the public, i guess) didn't like Hot were making a statement with this song. Which is often a hard thing for people to accept - they don't want artists to express their beliefs or have any political views. Yet another thing i love about Queen - they were not afraid to challenge the status quo even if it meant diminished album sales.

While Hot Space may not be my favourite *album, * by Queen, it does contain some of my all-time favourite songs.
