This is the Queen's song that made me love both Queen and Freddie.

The line - " But life still goes on. I can't get used to living with out, living without, living without you, by my side." Hits different for me these days. Two and a half years ago I lost my beautiful mother to leukemia and this was one of her favorite songs. I play it often and think of her, knowing now she's at peace. She broke free❤

No matter who you are or what music you prefer. Queen really does cross all boundaries. A legend whose music is for the people. That is why the music of queen is still as fresh today as it was when it first came out. Freddy can take a set of lyrics from any of them and make them explode with a beat all of their own.

I played this on my last day of high school a couple of days ago. It was one hell of a moment to remember.

As a person who is a Queen fan and a Sherlock fan I can tell you I listened to this song many times before. Recently I stopped listening to it and started listening to other Queen songs. But Moriarty just made me fall in love with it again.

This song reminds me of my constant battle with alcoholism. As any addict would know, we feel as though the substance of our choice is a friend. When we're sad? Substance is there. When we're alone? Substance is there. Hell, they're the best of friends in a time of celebration! It feels like the loving embrace of the person that we never had. And, to "break free" from this constant feeling of dependance is liberating. It feels amazing when it can be done. The very sad reality is that simple shortcomings in life make it feel like it is worth it to turn back to this "friend" for help. Alcohol was a crutch in my life for so long that I feel I will always have the "what if" thoughts. I know that, for the rest of my sober life, I will not get used to living without you. This song is so beautiful to me and I always break down whenever I hear it, sober or not. I love you all! Be safe, everyone.

this song HEALS my soul! I love all Queen songs but this one truly has my heart, I could listen to this song 1000 times and not get sick of it. This song has inspired me to break free from the negativity in my life. Freddie was such a beautiful person and till this day his voice helps others feel amazing, Freddie was a legend and queen was a legendary band. 🎶

This is one of the most powerful anthems for one’s own personal freedom. For a person who finds his/herself in a situation where they feel repressed and want to ‘break free’ of their circumstances and show the real person what they are. Queen never failed to invoke passion and emotion into the hearts of its listeners. Greatest rock band of all time 🎉🎉🎉

On the last day at my old job that I really hated, I played this song out loud. I felt like such a prisoner at that job, whenever Freddie sang "oh how i want to be free" i almost started crying because I was so thankful to be quitting. That song takes me back to that moment and im so greatful.

I believe that somewhere in the world, there are people who feel the same emotions that I feel when I listen to masterpieces like this song.

1:38 - 2:06 is one of the most uplifting parts of any track you’ll ever hear.

Freddie’s vocals are off the fucking chart there, words can’t really do it justice.

So, today we watched 'bohemian rhapsody" and my mom remembered that she used to listen to 'I want to break free' on the radio in her youth. They used to live in the land and had limited access to music of the time, but at night they could hear the radio. It brought many memories to life and we are very excited about it. Greetings from Mexico!

Ileave my comment here so that every time someone "likes" I get a notification and it reminds me that I have to come listen to this great song again.
