You should do your own version of "The Fall of the House of Usher", where each room could be a type of death like in the show. I mean, they're all inspired by Poe's tales, it's a great take on Halloween!!

The Hunger Games gym is sooo creative! Both with a nook for each district (and lights out for 13 👀) and the punching bags in a circle

I can totally relate to you having a hard time to get through TOG, for me it was a long process. It actually took me several years to finish the series but boy oh boy was it worth it!!!!
I would do anything to be able to read it for the first time again. All the plot twist and characters, the series is just a masterpiece! You just have to give it a lot of patience and time.
PLUS not only are you literally the most creative sims builder I know but you also have great taste in books!!! Just as I thought you couldn't become any cooler!!

You could do a cottage core village for classic children's literature. Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, The Little Prince, The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, Beatrix Potter. Or you could go for picture books like Dr. Seuss, Where the Wild Things Are, Frog and Toad, Curious George. Or Grimm's fairy tales though you may have done that already?
