In this video we'll be examining the functions, different types, and many uses of literary theory and criticism.

We will predominately be focused on New, Historical, Psychoanalytical, Biographical, Reader Response, and Deconstruction. But we will also touch on Theological, Marxist, and Feminist/Gender Studies.

What a beautiful way to make a lecture engaging.
There are many lectures there which are mere narration of the books.
This was extremely helpful for me to start literary Criticism as a discipline. Thank you !

And as a reader myself while analysing a literary i think i too have made the mistake of biographical fallacy! Was helpful .
