G'day again Milan,
I got the Iberia Map Pack I was missing plus got the SCS Truck Tuning Packs & Volvo Heavy Loads as my christmas present😁,
As it recently uploaded to 1.49 I decided to uninstall & reload 1.48.5 (with "Properties" "Beta") so I could give the ProMods Maps a go, I downloaded all the files, then took my time following Step by Step pausing this video (due to problems caused by the head injury I suffered my memory for multiple steps is Terrible these days) & it worked first go, thank you very much for all your help.

At the instalation part, where did you came up with "you can't use it on your current profile and you have to create a new one"? I'm using promods for a long time and I've always used it on my current and only profile without creating new ones and even when I ran it for the 1st time it worked without any issues.

I find myself moving more and more to my mhapro combo though to be honest.
Not because promods is bad, it looks great and and ads a lot of realism but somehow the mhapro map feels more alive to me.
I sm probably alone in this though.

Hello Milan,
first of all, thank you for the guide i will definitely use your advice regarding how to set everything up
however i do have a question that is very important to me,
what happens to the save file of the game that has been created prior to installing promods?
i currently have around 73% of the map discovered on the base map with map dlc's and i would not like to loose all my progress there as i'm trying to get all the achievements in the game, so i would not want to risk loosing my progress there just to download promods.

Thank you for this video. I already purchased the Euro Truck Simulator 2 from Steam platform, do I have to buy a separate one for ProMods platform? Also, I tried the process you explained in the video but unfortunately, it did not work. All the SCS files were showing "Red" in the Mod Manager. Specifically, I saw this message: Some DLCs which are required by this mod are missing. Make sure you have all of them installed and activated. dlc_east, dlc_north, dlc_fr, dlc_it, dlc_balt, dlc_balkan_e, dlc_iberia. Do I need to also buy all of them before i can activate? I am new in this stuff.

If I dont own, lets say, going east for example. Will the mod just not work in a whole or will it just not let me drive on that part of the map?

When downloading and unpacking, I noticed there's a "DLC support", what is that for? Also, since 1.47, i'm not able to full zoom in the map without the game crashing, i found some steamworkshop patches that fixes the issue but make the map very low quality. Have you experienced this too? Have you found a work around?
