I remenber one of the many stories telling the origin of this song. A young couple, the wife crying because her husband have to go to war. He said: Dont worry my crybaby ( llorona), soon I will return and we will be happy together. But sadly, he lost his life and the only thing that return, what a beautiful letter he did write to his wife, or like he said, mi llorona

I listened to this three times trying to find a single mispronounced syllable; you could have absolutely fooled me that Spanish is your native language. The sheer power behind the vocals, the "grito" at the end; this is much, much more difficult than people think and you made a version that Chavela Vargas is clapping for in the afterlife.
