I realised holding super cancel and pressing l1 actually helps push the ball further

Unfortunately Konami seems intent on stripping away features which enhance the game (kick into space & knock the ball on to set up a long shot or pass), to then see these very features in the gambling simulator FIFA.

Exactly what I have been wanting.. Push the ball forward into space and quickly burst, avoiding collision, get past the defender and rush to get ball for himself.

True it has been removed, I have kind of done it using manual passing, making a short pass in front of me, sometimes works sometimes it doesn't.

Achieving this by executing light manual pass (the one that is done by holding left trigger). No team mate should be in the area, otherwise it will be treated as a pass.

You can do this but not too far, you need to press two times R1 or RB on xbox doesnt matter if you are still or running.

All I see from this video is that, FIFA fans need PES to keep pushing the devs to do better. The same way PES needs FIFA, I would be happy if they keep copying the best features from each other. Its us the fans that win the most out of this symbiosis.

I still do it, but not with super cancel, try L1 + R1 45 degrees angle.

I think you can still do it just hit the X button (ground pass) with the analog pointing straight but just a medium light tap or they will blast it to far down the field, i think this works but i am not 100% sure, i am only talking about on break aways when no one is pass you down the field

I play PES 2020 and I've always just pressed R2 twice, that always pushes the ball forward, gotta have that space to run

FIFA didn't steal nor copy it...just that pes are dumb enough not to include what every professional footballers do EVERY matchday
