Genji's Sword Was His Main Weapon!?!

That would be a super cool concept. An extremely mobile hero with low hp, but devastating damage. It would be cool if he had 175 hp, and the sword dealt 100 damage.

His early concept art was supposed to be hanzo and genji into 1 character. So he would have dual wield bow&arrow and his blade. Would have been badass af ngl

Seriously, immagine if genji was reworked to be a sword fighter with his dragonblade (reduced damage obviously) and maybe kept the shurikens as a secondary fire for longer ranged poking. His ultimate could be some deadly blade dance

Did y’all know Genji and Hanzo were the same character. The design was still Genji but with like rag around his waist and he would have a sword and a bow. But the developers felt that it was too unbalanced so they separated them into TWO different characters.
