The square end on the socket is for a wrench to fit on for hard to reach places.

Their is something that keeps the small sockets in. Its called gravity. In that fails. Close the ip68 rating case lid 🤣 with the locks .

Or maybe they can make the whole bottom magnetic so all the sockets stay put and aren't to hard to get out of the case

Damn, I clicked bc I thought the set was black. Remember when craftsman had black sockets with gold stamps, so easy to see.
