You would want your knee off the bench and instead you could do a bent over row with 2 weights, you could do a gorulla row, or sinply place your hand at the end of the bench for support. Having your knee on the bench increases stability from what I've heard.

I’d remove the bench for two reasons: lack of relevancy to real life and it can cause an issue with hernia.
