McLaren's Fernando Alonso vents his frustration at racing with a "GP2 engine" and describes the car's performance as "embarrassing" over team radio at the Japanese Grand Prix.

The two-time world champion marked the 10th anniversary of his first world title by finishing 11th in Suzuka in a race dominated by his former team-mate Lewis Hamilton.

Alonso's team-mate Jenson Button described racing in Japan as feeling like a "samurai without his shield and sword."

I was embarrassed for him when Trulli outqualified him by half a second at Monaco, then easily beat him in the race.

alonso is a great driver but also he complains a lot, he expects from a team to always put him as number 1 driver, and he expects that the team should just magically give him a good car without him breaking any sweat... so ok, he doesn't have a great engine, but he should also work with the engineers a lot to find more speed in any bolt of the car, of one other part is lacking
