Eye Gaze Device for AAC

Today I show you an eye gaze device. These track eye movements to control a speech generating device for people who need help communicating. In this video I am using a Tobii-Dynavox I-Series device with Communicator 5 software, however, there are several options. Speak with a speech therapist if you think you need one.

Thank you for sharing! I don't have a ton of experience in AAC. I typically work with a bilingual population.

So my son has profound hearing loss and with CP due to brain injury (Kernicterus). I want to by this device but I am hesitant to believe that he will understand that actually the device is for him to communicate.

How will he know that this is the device I will need to use to communicate by eye gazing? Thanks.
