The sea salt trio have always had a special place in my heart. Especially because I grew up playing 358/2 days. Roxas always has and always will be one of my favorite characters. He reminds me that I want to be somebody

the fact nomura rewrote kh3's story to give the seasalt trio their happy ending hits even harder. he knew fans wanted a happy ending for them Axel struggling so hard to bring Roxas back, slowly recalling Xion and when his memories of her are returned, the three hugging after being torn apart QAQ them reclaiming the sigil, the X that also represents their connection and their individuality was just the icing on the cake imo, that and the dlc fight where the three of them get an awesome combo attack just *chefs kiss*

I still think the final boss of Days (Xion) is like an assisted suicide, she knew she needed to die, so Sora could be awakened.

I played Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days when i was in high-school and I can still remember the end of that game vividly.

I did not expect it to hit so hard, but for each of the trio to be forced to lose their memories and yet through sheer will, force themselves to remember at least a piece was heartbreaking.
(Not gonna lie, I still have beef with Ansem the Wise for how he handled that situation.)

Its the Sea Salt Trio and the others arent even close, no disrespect. Roxas, a Nobody searching for his own identity, embodies the struggle of self-discovery and the pain of being incomplete. The sea salt trio has always been my favorite since I've started playing 358/2 days. I love how you can watch xion and Roxas start out as people who have no emotions and who are pretty much empty then they have their own personalities and it's sad what happened to them in the end

If you think about it, with Kairi and Even/Vexen, you can get an infinite amount of people.

People can separate themselves into Heartless and Nobodies. Kairi gives the Heartless a new body. The Nobody is given time to become their own person, then they can go back to the original body, transfer whatever they need to get them back to full strength, and then be given a vessel of their own. Boom, two complete people. Rinse and repeat.

Days was my first KH game and I openly wept at the ending. Then comes KH3 where I FINALLY got to see the three of them reunited once again...I sobbed. I NEEDED that to happen so badly and I was very happy that it did

still like the bbs team the most, despite the game not fully showing their bond you can tell they cared deeply about each other like a family .
Which made their collapse more tragic to me, It speaks volumes Even when Terra was slipping into darkness he still wanted to save ven.

Which leads into the Terra and master eraqus scene which was so powerful,
You can identify with Terra wanting to save a friend but you can feel the sorrow behind eraqus words and you see the tear run down his face .

What’s sad is because of Xion’s unique existence when she dies any memory of her is supposed to go away as well. So in the moments where Roxas still can remember one of his closest friends he takes the Keyblade she gains and infuses it with all his memories of her. That’s why he can always remember Xion and why when people wield the Keyblade they suddenly remember her as well.

So...when I saw spoilers for the fight, I was jazzed at seeing Xion's return. And all of that, plus the reunion...

I legit teared up at it. I'm happy that these three are together again.

358/2 Days was my first KH game. All the Trios are great and I love them all, but the Seasalt Trio will always be just that little bit more special to me.

Days was the first KH game I played, since all I had was a DS. The sea salt trio will always be the most special to me, and a big reason is something you hit on: no matter what you get told, everyone is somebody. No one is a nobody, and life is worth fighting for.
