WATCH: Judge Amy Coney Barrett Supreme Court confirmation hearings - Day 2

Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett will be pressed by senators to speak about her record on issues like health care and abortion and how she would approach legal precedent on the high court during the second day of her Supreme Court confirmation hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee. It's the first chance senators will have to substantively question Barrett, whose nomination by President Donald Trump came weeks before the presidential election, sparking backlash from Democrats who said the winner of the presidential election in November should nominate the next justice. However, the Republican majority in the Senate have committed to pushing through Barrett's nomination proceedings and bringing her nomination to a vote before the Nov. 3 election.
