'Together, we can and should do more': Zelensky suggests new 'powerful sanctions' against Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says if the world had punished Russia back in 2014, there wouldn’t be an invasion of Ukraine and destruction of war unleashed.

“We have to correct such horrible mistakes and correct them now,” Mr Zelensky said in his address to the Australian parliament.

He said Ukrainians were grateful for the bipartisan support Australia has shown and provided.

“But this is only the beginning; together, we can and should do more; we need new sanctions against Russia, powerful sanctions until they stop blackmailing other countries with their nuclear missiles.”

In the meantime we are sitting at home having lost our jobs for no reason other than forceful vaccination of a drug that has been developed using a process that raises both ethical, moral and religious consciences.. We have been forgotten and treated like dirt with zero rights. No income and bills to pay and kicked out of employment. Cannot travel out of the country to secure employment elsewhere and cannot work in the country either. Meanwhile, Businesses have stalled, hurting with labour shortages and empty food shelves for lack of workers, amid soaring labour costs, which translates to inflation prices to customers. The two targets Russia hit on western side of Ukraine near Poland’s border was a training base and aircraft repair hangar which was the only target Ukrainian police blocked access to including western media. My only question is how much of Australia’s 70million in lethal aid was being stored there?

We should provide humanitarian aid but stay away from military conflicts not relevant to us. Neither UK nor US are in danger.
