I ask cuz my laptop supports only DP 1.2

This is why I personally really like your channel. Most other YouTubers (and VR channels) wouldn't have the balls to put focus on the negatives and sweep them under the rug. Your videos (to me) are the most credible/reliable to watch for any new VR hardware that comes out- you're there for the viewer at the end of the day and not for the company / brand.

G2 seems to be the better headset for flight simming as we need good enough resolution to see the instruments and dont care about controller tracking. Only thing I'm concerned about is the lower fov when compared to the index. I have read we have to turn the head a lot more in the cockpit when compared to the index.

I'm waiting for something like this in terms of resolution and audio quality, but with built in wireless functionality. I really like that they're moving to standardize around the oculus touch control design (far superior to the WMR controllers of the past). Really hope this succeeds and pushes the mid-high range headsets forward!

Hi Seb, phew!, watching this was nerve wrecking having been persuaded prior to this vid to pre ordered the G2. Question, can you get the oculus cv1 controllers with sensors to work with the G2? As I'm stepping up from that unit.

I am sure someone already mentioned - you missed 2 in-video link references at the end and you could have mentioned the small gripe about the velcro strap adjustment rather than the new wheel tightening concept
