I honestly still think SM is still overhated by most fans. But luckily, There were most who appreciate the series when it went on especially for me. I understand coming after XY was a big change with the Artstyle. However, The SM Episodes were really enjoyable and adds up the vibes into it. I think Ash’s Portrayal in this series is really good, I know he’s goofy most of the time but I often feel like he’s more relaxed coming after his Kalos Journey. SM is my second favourite along with DP at first

I’ll be honest. When this first came out, I thought the animation change was jarring. Granted, I’ve grown more to like it as time went on and think it’s quite underrated overall. But compared to how amazing the XY series was beforehand, the change was extremely drastic and out of nowhere too. Not to mention the whole structure of the series being set in a school and not travelling around a region as well.

I don't know why some fans hate "Sun and Moon" but I think it's the greatest Pokémon series I've ever seen. This is not only where I discovered Mallow as my favourite female companion but this is where Ash finally has his first league victory.

I kinda liked so to be fair I was like 10 or 11 and liked anything Pokémon haven’t watch the anime sense it ended

To be fair, I kinda liked Sun and Moon anime and Horizons so far along with Journeys.
Firstly, there are kinda different and it's not too bad to watch (except for some fan's opinions). Secondly, there are Team Rocket Trio moments and funny moments in the anime including the Eevee Shorts called Where are you going Eevee?.
Lastly, how can anyone disliked the sun and moon anime and games altogether long with Sword and Shield Journeys anime and Scarlet and Violet Horizons anime?

I rarely watched the Sun and Moon anime so I will compare between Sun and Moon anime, Sword and Shield Journeys anime to Scarlet and Violet Horizons anime.
There are no deaths there from Gen 7 to Gen 8 and Gen 9.
People must accept that he became Alola League Champion and Galar World Tournament Coronation Champion.
Even, Liko, Roy and Dot defends the Academy against the Explorers too that's why.

I know I’ve mentioned this particular YouTuber before, but Pokeeee thinks Team Rocket benefited from the new artstyle in sun and moon. I have to agree as well give there were always the comic relief of the series overall.

Simply because it wasn't try to be super serious (or had the impression of being). It actually realised that oh yeah Pokémon is about having fun with Pokémon, so the series shpuld be fun. Fans hate fun.

Ash actually grew up to be more mature in the events of XYZ. And everything about him was tossed out the window in SM.
It was a big regression. Hell even his design. Ash’s design in XYZ had more lengthy limbs, smaller head, taller, showing more age. I was starting to reach the beginning of my teenage years when it came out so I rlly loved it.
