The condensation issues are way overblown. I’ve had mine since release and use them heavily every day and night and I have never had any such issues whatsoever. I’d rather have that relatively minor issue than fickle plastic headphones that are vulnerable to breaking at a high rate. Go on any Sony XM5 forum and see how many people have this issue. As for the weight, again, zero issues with the APMs. I’d rather heavier headphones that are still comfortable and breathe better than the Sonys then cheap plastic headphones personally. And sound quality is only subjective up to a point. The APMs objectively have a wider sound stage and produce more detail than the Sonys. Go watch multiple audiophile reviews and they will tell you almost universally you the same thing about the APMs sounding better. It’s not just my own experience. I own both of these headphones so I’m not making this shit up lol. So when you look at it, the condensation issue not affect the vast majority of users myself included (over multiple years) and they are still comfortable. The carrying case is whatever. You’re not deciding to buy headphones because of a carrying case lol. The connectivity with the Apple ecosystem is also unparalleled with any other device. The on switch is something I wish they would change but it’s also not really an issue when you use the headphones because the battery lasts more than long enough and then enter a low power state automatically after a few minties of removal. But the biggest selling point for Apple users is that you are getting much better sounding headphones that feel premium and sound premium. I cannot say the same for the XM5s on the sound quality front. To my ears they sound terrible. No amount of EQ tweaking can save them now that I’ve experienced the APMs.

A Sonos product that doesn’t integrate with the Sonos ecosystem…. They’re just usual Bluetooth headphones. I’m a heavy Sonos user but will be sticking to the AirPod Max which seamlessly integrates with my  ecosystem…. Phone calls, music, movies, auto switching between devices

I have both AirPods Max and Sony Xm5's - the Sonys out perform the AirPods Max for sound easily and the sound is much more tweakable. But the AirPods Max have had to be replaced twice and repaired once in less than 5 months! They look good and sound good but for £500 they are a nightmare, never have I had so many issues - it's Now stressful to use them as I'm waiting for them to go wrong. This is for a pair of headphones I use at home - don't waste your money on the AirPods max

Good review, been watching every review trying to decided if I should cancel my preorder or not, but I guess I'll keep it and find out tomorrow if its good or not for me. I'd only be able to compare them to my Maxwells, XM3, and maybe some of my wired ones. I never did get the airpods max as lack of codec support, love the look though. Although from your video I wouldn't want to use the Sonos for calls, I think the quality is quite bad compared to the Apple for that. Hoping they roll out the Ray swap for it soon as that is really the primary reason I want them. Super disappointing they won't be WiFi with Airplay 2 though. I like how Sonos says its due to battery life, its like really because I can stream youtube for many hours on my phone on WiFi lol, probably just a lack of software development and hardware engineering, or so we all have to buy version 2 yikes.
