Making a gasket | Permatex High Torque & High Temp gasket maker

I bought this at O'rielley auto parts to fix a boost leak on my 2017 WRX. If it can seal that, it can seal this little guy.

Torque the bolts so that the gasket is created, then final torque in 24 hours...follow the manufacturer's directions 👍🏻

Somewhere on the tube it will say stick it together and finger tight then clamp later, our else I can fail. I followed the directions the second time lol

My question is about the use of this, is it squishing out on the inside of the part as well? Wouldn’t this cause damage ?

Used too much for my liking that will be all in you're carb before you know it good rule of thumb how ever much squeezes out that you wiped off will be on the inside too im sure it was fine but it can be a problem if you get carried away with it

you can buy sheets of gasket, per application (exhaust, intake, coolant, etc), and just custom cut instead of using this crap.

well....fk🤦‍♂️🙆‍♂️ gotta let it dry a little more and try to clean the excess off for a cleaner job customers won't be happy trust me
