Показать описание
The best of both worlds! If you love Peach Cobbler and a Super Moist Pound Cake....you have to try this! You will LOVE It!
Pound Cake Recipe:
3 cups Sugar
3 cups All Purpose Flour
6 large Eggs
3 sticks Unsalted Butter (softened)
1 tsp Pure Vanilla Flavor
½ tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Salt
Peach Cobbler Topping:
3 cups Sliced Peaches
½ stick Unsalted Butter (softened)
¼ cup Brown Sugar
½ cup Sugar
½ tsp Pure Vanilla Flavor
½ tsp Ground Cinnamon (optional)
½ tsp Ground Nutmeg (optional)
Icing (optional):
1 cup Powdered Sugar
2 tbsp Cream Cheese
1 tbsp Water
½ tsp Ground Cinnamon (optional)
½ tsp Ground Nutmeg (optional)
Tools:
Mixer
Bundt Pan (Coated with Oil)
Deep Sauce Pan
Measuring Spoons
Measuring Cups
Cake Spatulas
Small Bowls
Instructions:
1. In the Deep Sauce Pan, melt the ½ stick of butter. Add in brown sugar and white sugar. Stir until blended. Add the sliced peaches and vanilla flavor. Stir well. Let simmer for 10 minutes. Sauce will thicken. Once thickened, turn off the stove and let cool slightly.
2. Using your mixer, add 3 sticks of butter and gradually add 3 cups of sugar. Blend well. Begin adding one egg at a time and blend well. Next, gradually add the dry ingredients: flour, salt, and baking powder. Blend for about 5 minutes. Add the vanilla flavor and blend for about 5-10 minutes.
3. In your oiled Bundt Pan, slowly add the peach topping. Spread the topping evenly at the bottom of the pan. *I like to add cinnamon and nutmeg on top of the peach topping. 😊
4. Evenly pour the pound cake batter on top of the peach topping. Place in a cool oven at 315 degrees. (*I have a gas oven that gets really hot. I’ve found that 315 works for me) Let cook for 60-70 minutes. DO NOT open the over for at least 60 minutes.
5. When the cake is ready, remove and let cool. While the cake is cooling, you can prepare an icing if you’d like. In a small bowl or measuring cup, add powdered sugar, cream cheese, water, and spices. Stir until smooth. *I prefer to have a “drizzle” consistency so I add water or powdered sugar to obtain this.
6. When the cake has cooled, place on a cake saver or cake stand. Add the icing as desired. Cake is ready to serve! 😊
