Looked like it could have baked another 15 minutes or so, cake mix looked raw.

2 cans of peaches, cup of sugar, cup of flour, cup of milk, mix together pour in pan.stick of butter on top of mix.bake 30 to 45 minutes, done.enjoy.my grandmothers recipe.

I think 1 1/2 - 2 boxes of cake mix does WAY better than 1. And 2 can of non drained peaches. Instead of melted butter use solid squares. I say this every time i see these because it turns out better lke that n less doughy or wet. Not being a butt, just trying to genuinely help ppl that try to make these things. ❤

I made this last week! Except I used fresh peaches, cake from scratch, and some brown sugar and cinnamon. So good!

I prefer to use solid squares of butter to make sure most of the cake mix is covered and the cinnamon isn’t necessary. As for how many boxes of cake mix you should use depends on how big the baking pan is and how many peaches you are going to use. Also, make sure the cake is actually done.

Never thought to melt the butter. I always slice mine and place them all over the top then bake until golden brown. Yummm

I cook mine this way but I sprinkle the peaches with nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla and also sprinkle a little cinnamon on top after I but the sliced butter. So good with great value or kroger brand French vanilla ice cream

I made this today just as directed in the video. After it was done, I didn’t like it because I didn’t have a crust. It looked just like it looked in the video. So I ended up after it was baked and done, putting on a crust and put it back in the oven and it came out great. Another thing I change was using the Duncan Hines, Comstock simply pie filling and topping peach version that I bought from Walmart. Liked it much better than just a loose can of peaches, because the Duncan Hines comes already with peaches and a gelatin mixture and it’s already season so you don’t need to add a lot to it.

I did this exactly the way you said but I couldn't taste the cinnamon and it needed to cook a little more. I tried it with apple pie filling and put cinnamon on top the the cake mix then the butter. I cooked it an extra 8 minutes and it was good.

Oh yes it needs another 20 minutes and it would be perfect with a scoop of icecream !!

I make this all the time. I add cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla extract (also to bottom of pan with butter)
I add about 1 TBSP of corn starch to liquid to thicken it up. For butter, i freeze it, then grate it in the pan, then over the cake mix. I use Butter cake mix. l also cut the peaches in ½😋
