AJS 250 Model 22 1939 Performance Classics 'special' short ride.

This machine has undergone much work and many changes over the last five years or so in the Performance Classics workshops, including two engines, both rebuilt and modified, four pistons, four sets of cams, two gearboxes, two clutches, at least four carburetors and even three speedometers !! If you look closely, you can see it has a rather unusual cylinder head - there are two AJS heads for this machine, but I managed to graft a Pre War Ariel 250 head on, as this seemed a little more performance orientated compared to the originals, either of which could be refitted to the engine in just a few hours.
