We own a Debut Carbon (bought four years ago) and while it sounds absolutely fantastic, switching between 33 and 45 requires you to remove the platter and adjust the belt between two gears. That factoid is very annoying. Other than that, it is pretty much the best turntable I've ever used (besides the Technics 1200, of course!).

I just bought a carbon and cant speak highly enough of them. They are kind of expensive but if you can justify it, its a player that you will be able to enjoy for your whole life. Its built that well.

New subscriber, but listening to vinyl on a Technics SL-DD22 that I bought in (I think) 1987. It was collecting dust between about 1992 and 2017, when I decided to give "new" vinyl a listen. I'm so happy I kept that turntable. I really like the channel, and I'm glad I found it. I just scanned through what I think are all of your videos, and can't help but wonder why you haven't done a "best vintage turntables to buy used today" video. Thanks!

My setup isn't great, but isn't bad. My turntable is an Ion TTUSB10 that has been modded out. Has an adjustable tonearm (stock) paired up with a dust bug brush, and an Ortofon 2mRed. The receiver is an insignia NS-STRS14 paired with some re clothed, and re foamed Pioneer CS-G303. The Ion turntable was a gift from a family member which is why I kept it, and modded it.

my Technics SL-1200 MK2 from 1998 is a tank. i also have 2x SL-1210 MK5 that i bought in 2004. havent changed my turntables in 20 years

I bought a Fluance RT81 about a year ago, and absolutely agree that's it's a fantastic turntable for its price.

Just hooked up my Yamaha Vinyl 500, this is revolutionary. I can play music through my hifi system and stream the same sound to my new Yamaha speakers wirelessly!!

I have had the Fluance RT81 for 2 years and love the build and sound quality. I have it paired with the Monoprice 50 Watt Stereo Hybrid Tube Amplifier and Fluance AVFR Speakers (Unfortunately Discontinued), it is a very enjoyable rig.

Bought my Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB last year. It was the BEST investment and added component to my audio setup that I ever made; No regrets. I switched out the Ortofon 2M Red it came with, and replaced its stylus with a 2M Blue. Beautiful sound. Accurate tracking. GREAT detail and clean stereo image (wider and better channel separation).

This video hits at the perfect time. I'm considering the LP60 around $260CAD, but I would like the LP120, but it's $380CAD. Kinda struggling, but seeing that you still recommend the AT-LP60 gives me confidence that it'll be a solid buy for a Vinyl Virgin
