I had so many problems with the snap 2 band breaking. I went thru 4 in a little over a year. We'll see how the snap 3 goes.

So uh. Got my snap 3 pro. Wireless charging doesn’t work. Took it off the phone to try and reposition it and the adhesive completely came off and wasn’t re-usable.

Just received mine, put it on my 14 pro max and it does not charge thru the Apple MagSafe charger. I actually have 2 Apple MagSafe chargers and neither can charge, but they can charge with the ohsnap 3 pro off the phone.

Before you blame the case, my case is within spec allowed and what’s weird is I can actually get a charge thru my aftermarket MagSafe chargers, just not the Apple MagSafe charger. Defect?

I ordered the 2.0 it only last me for 5 months since the strap broke and that one gets broken easily I’m happy that I got the 3.0 pro since that one will never break and the strap is not plactic

But can you use this with one finger tho?? Although the band seemed tight on the finger (at first) I always enjoyed the convenience of only use one finger (in the loop) to hold my phone. Now it just seems like a thin magnetic pop socket :/

It’s great to see a video like this. The transparency is refreshing.

I’ve had every iteration of the grips and most recently the phone case which I was highly disappointed with and returned - but now that the pro 3 will attach via MagSafe and not simply adhesive that is a big selling feature for me. I’m excited to give it a shot and hopefully use it for years to come, until gen 4 arrives!

Glad to see this video. I've had the 1.0 and 2.0 and though I was happy to see the 2.0, I probably had 4-6 replaced. The band would break at some point and that was very irritating. It took a min for a response and by the time I'd actually get it, I could have been without it for a few weeks (except I bought more than 1 for myself... and I've bought some for others as well). Another frustration was that if I used a proper magsafe wireless charger, the grip would get stuck on the charger, so I'd have to take it off and put it back on the phone. Luckily, I don't use my wireless charging often on my Pixel 7 Pro. I am glad to see that I can still use one finger to hold the new version; hope I can depend on this one to work properly and not have to get it replaced because of tearing like the 2.0 (may use wireless charging more often now). And thank goodness that I don't have to be concerned with it working with 2.0 accessories. I cannot and would not continue to replace accessories, ie snapcar, snapmount, etc. Also, the survey that came out; it would have been great to have a comments section to capture other little tidbits that may be beneficial feedback. Thanks for the continued evolution and pursuit of perfection.

as an OG kickstarter, and owner of just about every product you guys have put out. It is frustrating to have to upgrade... again. But I really like that you keep making things better, and it absolutely shows that they are getting better, just placed the order for the 3.0. cant wait to get it on my phone.

So is the adhesive strong enough to stay on phones that don't have magsafe? Also are there magnets on the grip so I can attach it to magnetic mounts ect?

I loved the alpha grip and invested in the Kickstarter. I purchased the 2.0 and it did not work. But I never complained because I knew you wouldn't stop. Keep pushing forward!

Proud to say that I've used every iteration of the Oh Snap all the way back to the KS Ohsnap. It's clear you continue to try and advance the medium. Would I rather not need to upgrade? Sure, but they tend to correspond to when I upgrade my phones anyway, so I don't mind too much. As someone who is genuinely curious about this stuff, I do like seeing how each new one gets better.

Any chance we can see the new grip in kickstand mode? I can't find any photos of the grip pulled out. Is there another rubber strap behind it like the 2.0 grip? Or is it a extending post?

At least with the new design you won't have to worry about a band snapping within a couple months.

The kickstand on my grip sucks and it doesn’t charge wirelessly unless you remove the grip, so what is the point of having that?
