You’ve already been corrected, but Nappa & Vegeta were Elite Saiyans. Vegeta is the Prince of Saiyans. They rank themselves by power levels. So, Vegeta was very much so the strongest… until he met Goku.
That’s why he was so Salty.

Also, earth DID in fact survive a real Saiyan invasion. Kakkarot was the Saiyan invasion & they beat him great ape form, twice.

Then they fended off two more Saiyan invasions with Raditz, then Vegeta & Nappa. Honestly, after ranting like this, earth was cooking bro.

1. vegeta most definitely was the strongest saiyan at that point (aside from broly of course)
2. the saiyans who died to freeza can not be revived for a few reasons, nor could they have their power amped like that using shenron

this stopped being a problem by the middle-start of the very next arc. whole reason the saiyans got eradicated in the first place was because frieza was afraid one of them would get too strong and end up being the super saiyan of legend, and surprise surprise, every last full blood saiyan alive is AT LEAST a super saiyan

Well, the thing is that they actually were some of if not the strongest saiyans alive. Vegeta is an elite class warrior, which I think only consists of him and his father. And Nappa was a middle class warrior, who aside from the royalty, were the strongest among the saiyans, they came from actual clans who consistently bred the strongest saiyan warriors. Most of the saiyan population were low class like Raditz, bardock at the beginning of the movie, and his team. So If there was a saiyan invasion, earthlings would probably just have to fend off low class saiyans. In which case, we are still fucked, because a DBZ character is still a DBZ character. Even the entire earth's united forces could not kill the weakest low class saiyan

The strongest saiyan on plantet vegeta had a power level of 10, 000. While vegeta had a power level of almost twice that, and nappa was considered an elite worthy of being the right hand to the prince of all saiyans with only a power level of 5, 000

Depends, at the beginning at z maybe, but if a random saiyan came after cell saga, krillen, Tien, Yamcha or Roshi would be more enough

probably not, but at the same time it’s pretty heavily implied by interviews that the vast majority of saiyans had a power level of a few hundred, on top of that every saiyan invasion we see has like a maximum of 10 people so i still think that if they don’t have vegeta goku probably wins

I feel like there could be others. More importantly there could be halflings or other saiyan descendants. There had to be saiyans making babies with other species before frieza blew up their planet.

I think that’s fairly obvious. It’s explicitly stated that goku as a baby would have been enough. It’s the whole reason he was sent there.

Several issues with this theory.

One, Shenron nor Purunga would be able to make the saiyans as powerful as Goku and Vegeta. He can unlock their full potential, but he can't outright power them up. Shenron couldnt grant SSG to Goku, so stands to reason he can't grant power far beyond it to the Saiyan race as a whole.

Two, combat potential. Goku and Vegeta reached their current level through years of intense training and zenkai boosts and exposure to divine ki. It would take literal decades for the rest of the saiyan race to catch up and thats assuming they're anywhere near as gifted as Vegeta and Goku (Spoiler, they aren't. Vegeta and Raditz were around the same age yet Vegeta was several times stronger than Raditz in base. Base Vegeta would have murdered great ape Raditz. Nappa was also a great deal weaker.) None of them would have Gohan's or the other Saiyan/Human hybrids potential either because of their pure Saiyan heritage.

Three, Universe 6. The only reason the Universe 6 saiyans are able to start reaching Goku and Vegetas heights so easily is because of just how different they are. Evolutionarily, U6 saiyans are very different and MUCH better
