Wow, what a difference! The new Isuzu D-Max is such a huge improvement over the previous version that it isn't even funny. There's a new X-Terrain top trim, designed to compete with the Ranger Wildtrak and HiLux SR5. The new D-Max shares its underpinnings with the new Mazda BT-50 – but Isuzu did all the mechanical bits. So, what's the new D-Max like on road and off-road? We take a look at the new three-litre ute to start finding out. What do you think of the Isuzu? Do you value the 'truck engine'? My old dmax mechanicals were brilliant. But the underbody paint and suspensions were where they cuts costs. Hopefully has improved

Fears that many say that the car's safety system interferes with driving.
Did it come as a nuisance?

What i dont understand is some isuzu dealers are doing DA deals on the LSU and LSM and SX well below MRRP, however mazda is selling the bt50 at MRRP and doesnt appear to be doing DA deals

Interesting prospect, but it’s annoying that they did not design a Ute to take a standard pallet of 1165mm between the wheel wells, which is annoyingly 1122mm according to the specs. It really reduces the utility of the vehicle.
