Yes we at relatable speed NOWAYING.
TLDR: boss drops are much higher than 20%. Seems to be affecting every boss, but Dreamless is the fastest to spam compared to other bosses since you can kill one at an extremely low difficulty whereas other bosses are fixed to your SOL phase.

I don't think it's just the dreamless all the bosses seem like they have high drop rates I farmed the monkey for jiyan and kept getting drops every alternate run or sometimes consecutively

I've been doing this too, also you can just alternately clear 2 static bosses the other boss will most likely spawned after each clear, also fast since portals are near spawn areas.

Ive been experimenting these too and found out something really crucial
Been trying on overlord/calamity bosses but it seems that it works on every one of them.

System pretty much : Cycle 1 (20% rate) > (if no drop) > Cycle 2 (100% rate) ---> Repeat from cycle 1

(If you hit the 20%) (repeat from cycle 1)

Overlord and Calamity class might be seperated into different string pattern so these classes are different for example you kill an overlord boss but didnt drop an echo and decided to go kill the turtle calamity boss and kill it but didnt drop an echo too (different string pattern since different class).

haha, I am glad to see people realizing it now, let me break it down for you completely. you can pin my comment if you want !
Wuthering has a Echo PITY system as well. Here it goes:

3 cost Echo:
If no 3 cost echo for 3 times in a row, next one is guaranteed. Pity of 4 exists. Basically lets say, tambourine, 3 cost, you can go kill 3 tambourines and if they do not drop any echo, next one is guaranteed drop.

World Bosses (exclude weekly bosses):
World bosses have pity of 2. Lets say, you kill Inferno Rider and don't get echo, the next boss you kill (any), guaranteed echo drop.

Weekly Bosses Echo:
Weekly bosses function the same as overworld bosses. Guaranteed pity of 2

you'll still be starving for echo exp anyway but well, at least those failed +25 gives back 75% exp...

If it possible to feed +0 echo as exp then I'd call this an exploit but in this case its.. uhh.. works as intended ?
