I’ve heard only good things about the actual tools and the stacked lithium batteries. The older batteries had a varnish leaking issue, but I claimed my warranty coverage and they sent 2 new ones no questions asked other than “how can I help you today” and my name and address. They’re currently on their way and hopefully they’ll have fixed that issue. If so I’ll know they have excellent customer service and are always trying to improve their product

Pros have started using them cause of just how good they are. At first they were reluctant to go to a new brand, but after seeing how they perform a lot of guys are buying some here and there cause they actually like them once they get their hands on them. Shows me they’re actually great tools cause pro guys don’t spout bullshit they use what works for them

Yes I too put 1/1000th of an inch of the fastener into the concrete too. That drill bit is BARELY long enough to make it through your framing let alone actually make a proper hole in the concrete beneath it. Looks “really good” until I pry those 2bys off the face with my bare fingers since you didn’t do anything but join two pieces of wood together and if that was the goal you shouldn’t be using tapcons.

Warranty sucks. And tools didn’t even make it a year. Have all of them registered and they still want the receipt. And he can tell me when I bought them but can only replace one tool. I’ve invested quite a bit in them and am not very happy. Will be going back to dewalt.
