I had 2 batteries that leaked and they were changed out immediately to warranty

I take advantage of their stacked lithium and tool sales and with that warranty it’s hard to pass up the next generation of power tools . Lowe’s had the drill driver / hammer drill on sale for 120 with 2 batteries

One of my 5ah did that. Called flex they assure it is not harmful and doesn't even hurt the battery whatsoever. They said they have fixed the issue and the new design batteries are already on the market. They sent me a new battery for free great customer service

I got my grinder out last night and I'm going to have to warranty the battery. It's leaking.

Supposedly its dialectic grease. I don't think its battery acid. I had a new one that leaked and lowes exchanged it. I tested it....and it worked and took a charge.

The Skil 12v batteries also leak after 2 years, Chevron has a problem.
