I really love this style it's very unique reminds me of the 90s car magazine adverts where they used the glitch effect, a shimmer effect, speed lines, blurs and cartoon style clipart around the car

So far the game looks sick. Hope they implement some type of realism with turbos, such as past games, turbos just simply made the car faster, you could not feel “boost lag”

So from what I can tell Takeover events are just renamed Speed cross events

I get why people hate it but for me I find it refreshing to see something different like the cartoon effect to which I'm a fan of :)
