'Watering While Black:' Pastor Arrested For Watering Flowers

Michael Jennings, the preacher at Vision of Abundant Life Ministries in Sylacauga, was doing a favor for his neighbor after church services on Sunday, and another neighbor called police to report a suspicious person on the property, reported WIAT-TV.

“My neighbor goes out of town a lot and they wanted me to watch their house and keep their flowers watered,” Jennings said.

I've had that same charge before, because I wouldn't allow cops to search me without cause. Except my charge was in Florida and the charge was for "Obstructive without violence", after a cop threw me to the ground and kneed me in my back multiple times, as I screamed "I give up". All because I had a weed pipe in my pocket, that I didn't allow the cop to search. I didn't even get charged for the pipe. I got charged for not allowing a cop to illegally search me. But it was Florida and I was homeless. Not much I could do to fight the charge at the time.
