V Blood bosses on Brutal also have additional abilities and some of them have additional phases. The tailor boss lady who just runs away all around town in particular is quite a surprise for people who have only played on normal. Dracula has a whole additional phase in his fight. Completely different playthrough that needs a lot more thought in what abilities you use.

I want to address your comments about not finding the option at around the 18 minute mark.

To get to the option to adjust this you need to be on the main menu for the game, and click "Load Game", not continue the "Load Game", below play. Next select the world you want to edit at the top, and then over on the right of the screen just above "Host Game" is the "Edit Settings" button. Open that and on the Game Settings tab with the Gear symbol under the "Items" Listing is the "Teleport Bound Items" and "Bat Bound Items", disable both of those and click save. May also want to disable Bat Bound Soul Shards.

From there click back, and then "Host Game", and now enjoy your ability to use the way gates with resources and loot in your inventory.

Minions serving as distractions makes such a big difference in the game. You are absolutely right, they don't deal as much damage as other spells but the trade off of not having to dodge as many attacks because they are focused on your summons makes a big difference. Anyone struggling with solo play in this game should give that tactic a try.

One thing I find funny about this game is for how great you're supposed to be how much you're still doing by yourself, like, a legendary vampire who's defeated the terrible dracula and usurped his throne, a great and powerful vampire lord, people fear him, but also, here he is mining some blood crystals himself because he wants a big throne, that he will also be building himself.
