Crossing The Mighty Mississippi by Amtrak

Join me in this short film as I cross the mighty Mississippi River by Amtrak.
We cross the river at Burlington on my way to Chicago. I would even go so far as they it is one of the wonders of the railroads in America and it was a great experience to do it. I always feel like that when you see something that is famous the world over.

But, to be honest, my knowledge of where the Mississippi runs isn't great and I didn't really expect to cross it on our journey so soon after leaving New York. I've obviously heard about it being one of the worlds mighty waterways and it was fun to cross it by rail.
