I’m a senior in college and I completely agree with doing AP and dual enrollment courses during high school. It’s such a tremendous help when you get to college and have many of the pre req courses done.

Thanks so much for making this video! Choosing classes and activities selectively is something that resonated with me. I wanted to do some classes I was passionate about but definitely saw the workload would be more detrimental than if I self studied and enjoyed on my own time.

Hello,
so does GPA matter more than the course rigor? I am a freshman undergraduate and I totally overloaded this fall semester.. I know I still have 7+ semesters to bring my GPA up but I am really concerned.

Also, would course rigor show a “wow factor” for more competitive medical schools?

Being a latino was what got you into med school. You took a spot from more deserving white or asian candidate. Nothing more, nothing less.
