Years ago, I was high-school when I moved in with my grandma who is mother of 10. 1st night I was there she cooked fried chicken, corned beef with onion, beef stew, French fries onion rings, and a cake. When she was done I was like "grandma, who's coming over?". She said "no one, that's your dinner" I felt soooo loved

These are folk from a hard working generation, who made their own foods, enjoyed family life and raised great kids.
It is sad, that kids from this generation won't understand what their grand parent had to go through to make their lives comfortable.

Anyone with a grandparent as an adult is blessed. My one grandparent got cancer when I was 9, and she left me when I was 12.
