Were the KKK the Original ‘Election Police’?

Some lawmakers are proposing an election police that would investigate voter fraud. The move stems from the false claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from former President Donald Trump.

Author and professor Barrett Holmes Pitner and author and political strategist Barak Lurie join “BNC Live” to talk about proposed legislation and if this is history repeating itself.

All this and more on “BNC Live.”

It doesn't matter the party. Racism is Racism

This is what I ask current Republican voters when they don’t think that the southern strategy didn’t happen. “So are you saying that the klan voted for Barack Obama for president?”

I'm not even a Dem, but when people try to act like Dixiecrats didn't exist....it's just stupid.
Just ask yourself who still supports the Confederacy, it's not the Dems.

It doesn't matter who did what and when they did it. At the end of the day, the very fact that there is a history of obstructionism, when it comes to African-American voter access that does not happen when it comes to European-American voter access, tells you all you need to know.

This European American did not have a leg to stand on so he wasted time by arguing the most debunked political trope.

Astounding that a grown person who teaches journalism at a major university doesn’t know about the Republican Southern Strategy.

After signing both the voting rights act & the civil rights act POTUS LBJ said "With these bills, we (Democrats) have lost the South for a generation" He was correct about the Democraric Party losing the support of the southern Dixie-crats, however it's lasted far longer than a generation.

The parties did not flip. The black voters were convinced to flip. But we misrepresenting history saying the parties swapped

How does a college professor not know about the party switch in the 60's.

Eisenhower's administration did not desegregate schools. It was the administration that passed some meager laws and argued cases against segregation, but it didn't enforce any of those laws or rulings.

Why would BNC bring an openly propagandist saying the parties did not switch.

It is no secret that the two parties flipped in the 1960s. Due to JFK and LBJ having strong Civil Rights policies. I was born in 1950 and grew up in the South my first 22 years. Georgia, Florida, Virginia, and North Carolina. I was a news junkie and read much history beginning in 1960. I still do in 2022. I can tell you every president from 1900 to 2022.
