How To Repair a big hole in your Tent or Tarp

Here I show how to repair a big burning hole that i got from the last trip i had outdoors. Basically what happend is that the Tarp Tent got a heavy wind that night, and while I was sleeping and the Hot Oven had almost died, one of the pegs slipped and the tent touched the oven. I show the process on how to repair it.

Here are the STEPs to be clear:

1. Get Silicon Seam Seal tube, in Nortent Products you usually get this when you buy the product.
2. Use enough material from the producer, if the hole damage is greater than the material you have.
3. Measure & Cut the edges that is burned with a sciccor/knife.
4. Apply seamsealing to the edges of the new material
5. Carefully put in place over the damage hole area.
6. apply some preasure on the repaired area.
7. Let it dry for a few days where it is.
8. Repeat the process, on the other side.
9. Your tent hole is now fixed.

I just messed up a down bag and inflatable pad while stoking the stove. Pop went the stove, pop went my pad, and holes in my bag. Hot tents can be mean and the screw ups are costly. No looking forward to the down bag repair, more melted fabric that i trust will tape...
