to turn off the engine, do you need to move the red handle near the throttle to the back?

This M600 has the new Woodward FCU and a slightly different starting procedure than the pervious aircraft.

A more stupid flap control design I've never seen!! The Piper engineers were just plain lazy and didn't want to design a real flap control lever...so they just added a three position rotary switch and said here, Mr. Pilot, use this.
