When making the batter, look out for this:
When the batter comes off of spatula in a big blob, it is under stirred and will come out fluffy but will have a ton of air even if you slam the pan. However on the other hand, if it comes off of the spatula too fast like a really smooth frosting, it is over stirred and will come out flat and long. If the batter comes off of the spatula in a zigzag pattern easy and goes back in the batter slowly, it will be good.

Hey Janelle! I just found out that acorns can be edible if you prepare them properly by taking off the hard shell and then boiling them for 5 mins. That sounds like a very interesting video idea and I know how much you like exploring strange foods, so maybe you could try that!

My boys really enjoy these because of how colorful they are. My husband has been asking me for years to make them. I guess this is my sign to go for it! Lol

Pro tip: you can bake the macarons at its desired temperature for 1 minute then let it rise for 15 minutes before putting it back into the oven for its required time to bake. This helps create the feet it make it not crack. Saves around 45 minutes.
