Cost of gas and electric varies greatly depending on region. In Metro Detroit, home charging costs are easily less than half of what is reported here. A Model 3 would need about 25 kWh to travel 100 miles and this would cost roughly $4.00 in electricity at home.

Your at home charging costs are 100% wrong

These numbers are completely wrong. You used the wrong conversion and you used an ineficcient charging station. Also, electricity cost vary a lot depending on region.

Also, the Tesla model 4 is not a real car....

so gasing up takes 5 minutes and charging takes overnight, so do we add up the value of peoples time and danger being at these stations, especially in Detroit dodging bullets

Tesla charges 35 cents per kw in its supercharger station and the energy efficiency of the model 3 is 26 kw per mile so the around cost would be 9.1 dollars

Mustang Mach e: ~3.5 miles per KWh. Battery = 91kWh capacity . Total theoretical range = ~300. Cost of kWhr at home = .50. “Fill up” = $45 to 100%.
$45/300miles = $0.15 per mile for EV

Gas car: 24 mpg. For 300 miles = 12.5 gallons.
12.5 gallons x $4.25 per gallon = $53.13 for those 300 miles which = $0.17 per mile for gas vehicle.

2 cents per mile advantage for the EV just doesn’t seem worth it. The infrastructure needs to improve, range needs to improve, issues with redundancy need to be addressed also for EVs in general.

My Model Y using home charging has reduced my fueling costs by 2/3rds compared to the similar-sized gas car it replaced. It costs me $42 to go 1000 miles on my house electricity. It cost me $160 to go 1000 miles in my former gas car. This study is flawed. And that's driving in winter, which included heavy use of heating and battery preconditioning before each drive. It would cost less in the summer.

The math in this report is seriously flawed. We have a small fleet of gas and electric KIA souls.
The gas ones average 15 cents per Kilometre, while the EV version of the car averages 4 cents per kilometre. Sorry fellow gear heads, EVs are better in almost every way.

EVs cost $0 in the winter time cus most won’t even charge or turn on if it’s too cold out 🤣

For me it’s a lot cheaper I have a 2023 Nissan Ariyah 87 kW battery it takes me $7.20 to get 289 miles in my four-cylinder Dodge Caravan. I have that has a 420 gallon tank 350 a gallon 70 bucks fillet and I get 300 miles on it.

That's the car value when your $20.000 car battery stops charging?

Caddy take 10 minutes tops to fill with gas.... an hour plus to charge to 80 percent. EVs are a scam.

dont forget electric casr cost 10000 more than same regular car and if electricity will double in a future? the only way it wins if electric cars will cost the same as gasoline cars and drive 600 miles on a charge, Ill buy
