Hawaii with Z8 & vintage Nikkor lenses

The shine of the one camera, one lens challenge began to fade (and was done in Cuba, Russia, Paris and Portugal), and the fogged film from the Paris trip made film travel-photography less appealing, so Alastair has dug deep and decided to bring 5 classic Nikkor lenses adapted for his Z8 on his Hawaii trip.

Thank you for making this video. I’m using old Nikkor manual focus lenses on my DSLR and enjoying the process and results. With the additional manual focus aids in Z cameras, I expect I’d enjoy it even more.

These Nikkor lenses look amazing and have really stood the test of time. I've never heard of them being cheap though. They were way out of my price range when shopping for vintage lenses. Especially comparing them to other Japanese lenses of the same era.
